Capturr ("we", "us", or "our") is a web and creative production business based in Hyogo, Japan. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect information through our website (https://capturr.jp) and through the tools we operate for our clients, including our application "Capturr Reviews", which uses Google APIs.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide to us. When you contact us or work with us, we may receive your name, company name, email address, phone number and the content of your messages.
Information obtained through Google APIs. When an authorized user grants Capturr Reviews access to their Google Account, we access the Google Business Profile data of the business locations that user owns or manages, specifically:
Business account and location identifiers, business name and Google Maps URL
Reviews of those locations, including star rating, review text, review date, owner replies, and the reviewer's public display name and profile photo URL as provided by Google
The overall average rating and total number of reviews
We also store an OAuth refresh token so that the application can retrieve this data on a scheduled basis. We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, contacts or any other Google services.
Website usage. Our web server may record standard access logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and maintenance purposes.
2. How we use information
To respond to inquiries and provide our services
To display a business's Google reviews and rating on that business's own official website, with links back to Google Maps, at the request of that business
To maintain the security and operation of our website and services
We do not use data obtained through Google APIs for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than those listed above, and we never sell it.
3. Google API Services User Data Policy
Capturr Reviews' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Sharing of information
We do not share personal information with third parties, except:
Review content and ratings, which are publicly displayed on the website of the business they belong to, as described above
With service providers that host our website and servers, solely to operate our services
When required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others
5. Data storage and security
Data is stored on servers located in Japan. OAuth credentials and tokens are kept in non-public server directories and are never exposed to website visitors. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss or alteration.
6. Data retention and deletion
Review data is refreshed regularly and replaced with the latest data from Google. When a business ends its relationship with us or removes our access to its Business Profile, we stop retrieving its data and delete the stored review data within 30 days. Inquiry records are kept only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
7. Revoking access
You can revoke Capturr Reviews' access to your Google Account at any time from your Google Account settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. You may also contact us to request deletion of any data we hold.
8. Your rights
In accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information held by us. Please contact us using the details below.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
